2024 Annual Banquet

Click here for additional details and to register for the 2024 Annual Banquet on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

Join us at our annual celebration of member achievements, accomplishments and all around camaraderie here at EAA Chapter 838. Have a gourmet dinner with some of your closest aviation friends and a few other short, special events are in store for you, too!  Those events are:

Jerry Glasser SR-71 Pilot

1.   Special Presenter Lt. Col. Jerry Glasser, USAF retired and SR-71 Pilot!

Jerry Glasser flew the SR-71 from 1980-1986. In those years he flew 110
operational world-wide missions and logged over 900 Blackbird hours.
Among the most significant missions in his log book were the 1st Libyan
post strike sortie, multiple Space Shuttle tracking and sensor profiles,
KC-10 operational evaluations and a series of NASA Shuttle support
missions. Jerry will share many of those flight stories with us about his career flying the worlds faster airplane!  Jerry is coming to Wisconsin and EAA Chapter 838 just for this event!

2.  A special keynote address on the state of the chapter by our President, Scott Sherer.

3.  A dedication ceremony for our newest bronze memorial plaque celebrating the dedication of our members family members!

4.  A stand-up introduction of our newest Master Pilot and Master Mechanic award winners!  These fellows have been awarded the highest civilian award given by the Federal Aviation Administration.  Be there to give these fellows a round of applause!

5.  All of Chapter 838's 2024 scholarship award winners will be introduced!  Be there to give these young members a round of applause!

The cost is $45 per person. You will be asked to pay when you've completed this form. Register yourself and other members of your party, select the dinner choice for each guest, and follow the instructions to pay.

You are then set to have a wonderful evening! We look forward to seeing you there!
